About Us
The Renaissance Foundation was formed in October 1996 and became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2001.
The Renaissance Foundation was established for the charitable purpose of improving the lives of people of all ages and enhancing the quality of life in their neighborhoods.
This faith-based organization has much to offer because it is active in the neighborhoods and responds to on-going needs of the community by supporting mission programs.
The Renaissance Foundation provides cultural diversity, outreach, resources, partnerships and initiatives within the community in order to bridge the gaps of disparities and provide a platform to address those issues.
Because the Renaissance Foundation is a faith-based organization, they are aware of the disparities that exist in depressed communities.
Their initiatives and projects are designed to build a new climate of inclusion, quality and morality.
Therefore the Renaissance Foundation has identified the following initiatives to address some of these disparities:
Renaissance Cultural Arts Center
Senior Citizens Initiative
Sons of Allen Volunteer Mentoring Program (Project Save A Child)
Technology Center
The Partnership Initiative
